This is the main law regulating websites in Hungary.
Service providers are required to display the following information in a clear, directly accessible, and permanently available manner:
- Name / company name
- Legal address
- Contact details (email is mandatory)
- Company / sole proprietorship registration number
- Tax number
- Registering authority
- For licensed activities — details of the licensing authority

Press Publications / BlogsIf a website publishes regularly updated editorial content (e.g., an online magazine), additional information may be required:
- Responsible editor
- Publisher
- Editorial office address
When is an impressum required?✔️ Online stores

✔️ Blogs that generate income
⚖️ For private, non-commercial websites, requirements may be limited, but in practice, having an impressum is so strongly recommended that it’s better to include one even without income.
Formal requirementsThe impressum must:

- Be permanently accessible
- Not be hidden
